you don't know me

bad rap
The things we become known for aren’t always what we’d like to be known for. Reputations are hard to run from. Sometimes they’re not even deserved. So here’s your chance to set the record straight. Clear up some misplaced assumptions, debunk any rumours about yourself and defy your stereotypes.
how to play:
Top level with something(s) your character is tired of people assuming about them, blaming them for, or pigeonholing them about, etc. Say it in person or over text.
Comment on any surprising, or not so surprising declarations.

/makes appreciative garbage bag noises!!
As for myself? If I went rogue, I'm ashamed to admit it's expected that they would make the assumption that I'd simply behave the way you would. What everyone tends to forget is that we do this all for the sake of the Soul Society and Soul Reapers who lack your spiritual density are expendable without consequence.

[One might expect him to laugh at any moment, but it doesn't come.]
'For the sake of the Soul Society' you all say, as if your noble bearing was any more than an illusion of civility stretched into a thin attempt at modesty.

[For once, he would extend him just one kindness. It was an insane answer but one that he knew would cost him and the world nothing.]
It's utterly worthless information to you at this point as you already have the complete product nestled in your sternum but would you like to know how I discovered the Hogyoku?
1000 apologies. new kittens gobbled up my free time and brain capacity.
By all means. If only in idle curiosity, I welcome such a tale. What happenstance stumbled you upon the concept, I wonder?
i'm angry but entirely out of envy!!!!!
[He knew it would be frustrating for a scientist to be told they had only failed because of a few variables they hadn't considered or even discarded out of the belief that they wouldn't yield anything worthwhile.]
As you might suspect, the precise opposite of hollowification.
it took this long to get them to let me sleep through the night 😩
[Frustrating? Would a frustrated man allow the smile that touches his mouth? That glints in his eyes]
How fortuitous that you should arrive at such an invention through so circuitous a manner. An expedient discovery, given the plight of your fellow officers.
[The smile only widens, his tone softening, all polite inquiry.]
How fares Miss Sarugaki, by the way?
that is the most darling thing ever ;;
[He was happy with the way Aizen handled it. In a way, Kisuke thought the former soul reaper had learned the same way he did that it was important to be prepared and to anticipate hostility. A joyless smile could hide quite a lot.
Especially a knife pointed straight at his heart. Even if he was prepared for it, it still slipped between his ribs and struck him solidly and yet, it was hardly over what Gin had done to her. Kisuke took in a breath and sighed, listless.
It was what Kisuke had done to her far, far before that. In the way they hurt everyone around them through their actions and manipulation, Kisuke knew he was too, too similar to the man grinning and likely relishing every moment of his imprisonment.]
She can recover from just about anything--even my beliefs.
