Then why did you marry? What did you gain from obtaining power and wealth? I understand that financial stability is necessary for the sake of obtaining basic necessities, but I... assume there's more to it than only that.

Have you never wanted anything simply for the sake of having it, holding it in your hands, knowing the feel of it between your fingers?
