unpopular opinions

Do you think people are too sensitive? Or that Superman isn't so super? Think cats aren't cute? The Beatles are overrated? Love pineapple on pizza? Maybe you just don't like chips rly. Even the best of us have some controversial opinions. Let people know what a monster you are.

top level

with your characters’ unpopular and/or controversial opinion. Or share few of them at once. In person or via text. Prepare for disagreement.

comment

to tell them why they're wrong, validate a kindred spirit, or just troll them for caring about such a silly-ass thing in the first place.

You can change.

You can change more than once.

[ She stands, idly holding a book as if she means to read directly from it. ]

A cage went in search of a bird, but now the bird is gone. The bird has changed.

[ Her eyes fall idly from the book as she closes it, folding her hands over one another and taking but a glance in the man's direction. ]

Metamorphosis, I presume it is you're referencing.

[ Or something similar at least. Either way, his opinion speaks to her in a way she's willing to engage and consider serious conversation of the matter. ]

[ The book he holds is not one currently in his hands, but it doesn't have dissimilar passages. ]

To my knowledge, Kafka isn't unpopular. Even where I'm from.

[ He wouldn't be particularly well-rounded if he was unfamiliar with the man, even if the subject isn't far off from what he'd been talking about. ]

I was referencing nothing in particular, only the reality of personal evolution. Perhaps some may not possess the ability to shift their nature, but for most people it's something truly attainable -- albeit often with great effort.

You can, and pretty much everyone does. Even if they think they aren't.

I meant less in regard of unintentional -- especially age -- and more in regard to willful change. Of things you wish to be rid of or evolve within one's self. Your very nature.

However, I do believe you're correct. Many think they've never changed. Particularly the older they get.

True. I bring up the second because I think that if someone doesn't believe in that, they have a hard time believing in the first.

Of course, willful changes take a lot of work, especially changing something you might call nature. It's not that people can't, but that some people don't try, or try and give up before they've managed that kind of change.
