In the way people joke about things, sure, but it's the judgment behind it that is annoying. I'm not prissy, it's a just an occupational habit; just like you said, sometimes you need to keep your hands clean.

I know what you mean. There's a kind of disparaging joking that's not 100% a joke, and it's usually about the most ridiculous things. It gets tiring after a while.
