unpopular opinions
Do you think people are too sensitive? Or that Superman isn't so super? Think cats aren't cute? The Beatles are overrated? Love pineapple on pizza? Maybe you just don't like chips rly. Even the best of us have some controversial opinions. Let people know what a monster you are.

with your characters’ unpopular and/or controversial opinion. Or share few of them at once. In person or via text. Prepare for disagreement.

to tell them why they're wrong, validate a kindred spirit, or just troll them for caring about such a silly-ass thing in the first place.

[This is a very young human he's talking to. Can't be much more than eighteen or nineteen, and she's on the short side. There's a kind of quiet, ready fearlessness about her, though, like she's seen some things teenage mortals don't usually experience.]
You're...not a human, though, right? [She can usually tell, but she's not sure what exactly he is.] So maybe it's different where you're from.

[Thor head-tilts with a shifting of his shoulders that is almost a shrug.] We're... related to humans. A long while back. We're just... heavier and with a bit more magic. And we live longer.

[This in no way supports or refutes her theory about their respective cultures, though.]
I know fae don't process emotions the way humans do. They'll laugh at funerals, cry and scream at weddings. I think they make a distinction with respect to the intensity of a feeling, more so than the type.

[Laughing, Thor answers,] We're genetically close enough to humans to be capable of procreating.
As far as emotions, they seem similar enough? Maybe we're a bit more... vibrant with our emotions, because we've lived so long? More battle-ready and... intense, but not in the ways you'd mentioned. I think it's societal? Just... what's encouraged?

Although humans seem to be compatible enough to reproduce with a lot of other humanoids, which I'm pretty sure begs a whole lot of questions about the origins of species across the universe.
People always say as you get older you just become more of what you already were. Maybe that's true of immortal-ish people, too. That'd explain a lot about vampires. [A little ugh face, there. She has yet to meet a vampire who didn't try to personally victimize her, which has left a bad impression.]

Ah, never met one. You've had trouble with them?

[Not that she excels at 'friend stuff', herself. She's got a lot in common with Loki that way.]
The first vampire I ever met looked like a kid about my age. He was lonely, and I was in a bad place, and he wanted to make me his companion for eternity or whatever. Trouble is, as romantic as that sounds, it involves complete mental, physical, and spiritual subjugation so it was not a fun time. My uncle had to save me.
The second vampire I dealt with was just an asshole.

[All of this though, does not involve Courtney, so after that fraction of a second, he's back to smiling. She looked only just out of adolescence anyway, so certainly the last time Thor, who was an adult, had looked so young, was many hundreds of years ago.]
It would appear I am lucky to have never met one. I-- apologize, for bringing up such memories. I did not intend any upset to you.
