Even if I'm not appealing enough, I'm curious: what sorts of food and drink do you like?

[ Frankly? He anticipated a resounding, depressing silence in answer to his, uh, gold-digging? eheh, is that the phrase? It's not that he's a glutton (
he is) ; only, there are so many delicious foods out there and his boss is a cruel, heartless penny-pincher! ]--no! I mean, you are! more than appealing enough! You do look a lot like him, though...
[ S U S P I C I O U S. ]
I'm not all that picky, ha! Aaaa let's see: taiyaki, dorayaki, imagawayaki, takoyaki -- really, anything grilled!! I love street food. But that's mostly because it's all I can afford... [ Droops. HAS HE LAID IT ON THICK ENOUGH YET. ] Oh! And sweets, of course.

[Of course, he also notices how Tsuzuki's eyes are an odd color like his own - but knowing his feelings about himself, he opts not to say anything.]
To be frank, I have money from an inheritance. I wasn't paid very much while I was working for the man who raised me. So I feel a little more free to burn away any excess money. Figuratively speaking. I work odd jobs now, to while away the time.
So we'll hit up some street food stands if that's what you want. Anything to drink? We can make an outing of it if that's what you'd like.
Oh! I'm Yasuhide Sänger.

W o w. He must really be loaded! The fully-grown man ( & then some ) chews at a hangnail, just a tad jealous of the romantic notion. Collecting a fortune so enormous that you spoil a total stranger.
...working to pass the time, that bit's absurd. Tsuzuki's pretty sure every wealthy man is eccentric in some way, though. Wanting to work isn't the craziest. Now, if he never had to work again, you wouldn't catch him complaining. Sigh, what he wouldn't give for a paid vacation.
Here, offering up his hand out of habit. ]
Tsuzuki Asato.
[ A sparkle glints in his vibrant eyes and he releases the shake to hold out his index, high and enthusiastic. Even if he's technically mooching, he can surely balance it out with playing host! ]
Idea! Have you visited Yakitori Alley, Yasuhide-san? [ A cringing smile through the pain of necessarily adding: ] You may have heard it called Piss Alley... But, but! It isn't what it sounds like -- that was a only a nickname..! Because it was an illegal drinking spot, and, well, they didn't have toilets, so...
[ Hand-gesturing the obvious, he finishes by holding up his palms in a STOP motion. ]
They do now! Don't worry. Really, it's a beautiful, historical site, uh, with dozens of small restaurants that specialize in yakitori, thus Yakitori Alley. Of course, they have other foods, too, and they serve every kind of drink you can imagine. It's nice walking around at night, really feels like being back in the 30's. [ Nostalgic~. ] That's what they say, anyway.

Uh...
[The history lesson, well. Gets him to pause and think. And wonder a little.]
You don't need to be overly polite on my account, nor apologize for the name others have given a place. Piss Alley, huh?
[He lets out a faint laugh, expression warming.]
Alright, show me around. My treat. I'd like to keep things within the ideal budget of around half a million yen. If that's alright? Just while we test the waters together.
[Look, he doesn't want to appear to be a cheap date, so to speak. Even if street food can be very affordable. Any of them could want seconds, or thirds! Leftovers tomorrow?
[He steps a little closer to Tsuzuki, and though he's dressed pretty casually (loose shirt, leather jacket, jeans,) he also smells faintly of fresh flowers.]
Of course, I'm open to further negotiation. And I'm free all day, so if you want to show me lots of sights, I'd be happy to see them.
Although I'm afraid that I might not be able to appreciate any nightly sights as well as most. I see in the dark far too well.

[ Could be coming around on this 'budgeting' thing.
So, the man's wealthy, attractive, considerate, unsurprisingly smells nice, floral fresh, none of that chemical tang. He did request a gentleman, huh. Tsuzuki ducks his chin self consciously and works out several places more refined than, er, Piss Alley, though he's not especially confident about how well their standards align. The gardens are class-free, and anyway it's quiet, easier to talk since he doesn't actually know his date's interests or hobbies, or anything. It's mysterious and exciting, like a movie. ]
Oh. [ More confused than disappointed. They do say fairer hues take in more light, and Yasuhide's gaze is candy-bright, or maybe they are contacts, he's still catching up with the trends. --not to say he's uncool. Tsuzuki can still "kick it" with the younger generations. ] It's cozy in the daytime, too.
[ In case he's looking shifty, which he is, it may be due to the fact he's decided to play hooky. Yes, yes, the suit and tie, dressed to impress by some measures, is only the regular attire demanded of his high-strung workplace. Still. It's not often you are swept off you feet -- His coworkers will understand. Even the montage of lectures playing in crackly black-and-white in his mind's theater isn't persuasive enough to ruin his enthusiasm. ]
If you'd like, I was on my way to the gardens to find a place to sit. [ Notably a free first stop, probably nothing special to most, so he gestures his dangling as incentive, still steaming and carrying several coldcut sandwiches from the local breakfast eatery. ] There's a sandwich in it for you.

Oh?
[It's his turn to be confused, and looks between Tsuzuki and the food he offers. His cheeks slightly flush as he contemplates exactly how to respond.
[It takes him a few very palpable seconds before he clears his throat.]
That.. I'd like that. Thank you. I'll make it up to you.
