While this is true in some cases, it's not where I'm from. It takes effort to destroy a planet. Nukes are really about the only way to do it. [Vanya aside.]

Planet crackers. We use them for exterminatus on indelibly-tainted planets. They are generally seen as a failure when used by our leaders, though.

Xenos-breeds. Orks, for example, large fungally based brutes who use primitive technology.

Or the Megarachnids, though in the end we chose to destroy them in open battle instead, if only to preserve those that had already been beleaguered by them.

As far as warcraft goes? Absolutely. Put me in a social situation with unmodified humans and I would retreat into my shell like a snail.
