So how many jumps until you realize how pointless it is? Every change you do alters the timeline. Not nessarily for good. Eventually the changes will make it disjointed and perhaps even threaten the very future you hope to save. By then the damage may be irreversible.

I've been doing this for a while. Professionally. I've fucked up once, I know not to do that again.

Once may be enough. But at least you didn't fuck up too badly. There have been incidents of wizards going back in the past and accidentally killing their previous self. You may also risk waking the gods ire if you change too much. But maybe that's not a problem for you.

I know who I have to avoid. And I'm smarter than them.
