I'm a herpetologist, which means I specialize in reptiles and amphibians. Right now, I'm looking at rises and falls in local frog and snake species and working on some breeding projects for endangered turtle species.

No, in these cases it's mostly habitat loss. It's not easy to convince a lot of people to leave swamps undeveloped and seemingly useless to people.
