Do you think people are too sensitive? Or that Superman isn't so super? Think cats aren't cute? The Beatles are overrated? Love pineapple on pizza? Maybe you just don't like chips rly. Even the best of us have some controversial opinions. Let people know what a monster you are.

with your characters’ unpopular and/or controversial opinion. Or share few of them at once. In person or via text. Prepare for disagreement.

to tell them why they're wrong, validate a kindred spirit, or just troll them for caring about such a silly-ass thing in the first place.

[ She was tempted to reply "I don't know him either" about her love, but she figured that'd be a bad idea. Or was it her? That's the problem with being in love with a completely unknown player who could literally be anyone. More so since she couldn't reply "yes" to any of those questions. ]
But... I guess I'm not thinking about it that logically. [She raised a finger.] Because love is not logic after all, right? So I feel trying to apply logic to it is kind of missing the point.

[He pauses, listening to it, then shakes his head.]
Love, as a word, can be interpreted in many ways. It's true. It's not logical - people with fame say 'I love my fans', singers have love songs, you can love your job, your house, your friends, your way of living...love is a broad concept. Maybe that's why I don't put too much stock into it. Making sacrifices for love is difficult, because love is everywhere...you can still gain things through your different loves, even if they're unrequited.
Sometimes a one-sided love can still teach you something new about yourself. 'I'm braver than I thought,' or 'I've got more skill in this than I imagined', and it's because you traded one love for another. I suppose it could also throw your ethics into question...that's where 'devotion' comes in. Unhealthy love. Love you'd kill or die for, that you put above all else.
So you may be right. Love isn't logical. Nor is it always healthy. That's why I don't really put too much stock in it. It's a fleeting concept of which you have to make your own meaning, even when there is none, and even then - if you admit to it being illogical, then you're just chasing a high that will probably wear off sooner or later. Best you don't do anything you regret chasing that high.
To me, trust is more valuable than love. That's something to sacrifice for.

[ None of which she could really refute because she knew most of his points were correct. She looked down for a moment. Trust, huh? Did trust even matter when the ones trusting you weren't even real, weren't even people? Just NPCs with a set number of reactions. Or was it just another lie she fed herself to make the guilt easier to bear? ]
I probably should clarify I was speaking about romantic love. Ultimately, all concepts are fleeting. Even trust may be put to the test when faced with conflicting loyalties or revelations significant enough to alter one's perceptions.
[ Like if you learn someone trusting you is actually a NPC with no free will. ]
And... Should someone give your life meaning and bring you happiness where none other can— Is it so unhealthy to forego logic and love them, to be devoted? [A weak smile.] I'll admit my perspective is biased. I come from a place where very little brings happiness and I have always been fond of books with happy endings. The ideal of love has always helped me keep on going, even in the darkest of times. I can't say the same of trust. This is where my "unpopular opinion" comes from, my own experience.
