I was afraid of seeming weak, and unable to tolerate failure in myself or others. But I can imagine you'll say that it only showed how weak I really was.

I took longer than I should have taken to start learning from my mistakes, and there's plenty of work to do. But you're right, it's a start. Only the first step.

That's what I'm working on. Not holding myself back, and seeing what I become. My master hamstrung my training so I would be a useful weapon for his purposes, but weak enough for him to overpower when the time came.
