Do you think people are too sensitive? Or that Superman isn't so super? Think cats aren't cute? The Beatles are overrated? Love pineapple on pizza? Maybe you just don't like chips rly. Even the best of us have some controversial opinions. Let people know what a monster you are.

with your characters’ unpopular and/or controversial opinion. Or share few of them at once. In person or via text. Prepare for disagreement.

to tell them why they're wrong, validate a kindred spirit, or just troll them for caring about such a silly-ass thing in the first place.

We have conversations about how when I use the force, which we have another few names for, I am always working out of my emotions, but I try to work out of emotions the Sith don't typically favour. It seems to me like both philosophies are basically attempts at getting people to amputate large parts of their human (or otherwise sapient) natures and thus inherently harmful. Selective suppression of biological and intellectual drives in the short term can be a highly effective method of building up energy to do things, but long term, and without grounding and restoration after the work's done, it leaves you unbalanced, unsteady and incredibly vulnerable to manipulation.

People are complicated, and denying parts of ourselves - light and dark - hurts us.
So I suppose moving into a gray area is natural for me. I don't know what it will become, but I'm developing my own beliefs and rules for myself to follow that take what I like from both Sith and Jedi. It's what's helped me gain control over myself. If neither Code suits my needs, I'll build my own. But either way, I'm not allowing myself to be used or manipulated by anyone again.

I think you'll be fine. Anger and fear are necessary emotions. Anger tells us when we or others are having our boundaries broken, although it can also form when we have made attachments to things we cannot and should not be able to control, like what other people do. Fear shows us when we're in danger. Both can be used to spur positive action.
Hatred is love gone toxic, and is difficult to manifest good things from, but it can show you where you, or you and others, need to detach from others or choose what to do about what's going on around you. My kind don't feel guilt from just killing alone. We prefer not to kill other sapients because we believe that sapience should not be taken from the world unconsenting, but if someone chooses to attack me or my kits or mates, they've made a choice which implies consent to taking on someone dangerous.
Lust and spite and envy can all move you forward toward goals, which can be morally right, or morally wrong. On the other hand, love and compassion and generosity are more pleasant emotions to feel, with fewer -- but non-zero -- opportunities for misuse. But they're also higher-order emotions. It's natural to want to get someone's foot out of the small of your back before you start thinking about universal healthcare, for example.
