1. Tarot decks that draw from the symbolism of the Rider-Waite deck aren't inherently better. Nor are decks that intentionally deviate from it.

1a. It's kinda awful that the Rider-Waite deck is named after the man who commissioned the artwork and the company who published the deck, and not the talented artist, Pamela Colman Smith.

2. Undiagnosed diabetics or those who don't treat it properly have the most delicious blood.

3. There are several really interesting stories hiding in the bland prose of the Twilight Saga.

Hmm. The "law" is relative. Most societies are made up of those with power, wealth, and privilege standing above the rest making rules that everyone else has to follow. The corruption of those who enforce the laws is only a symptom of the corruption at the core.

Prayer is just a word to make begging look more flattering for both sides. You do not want it. It is annoying and inconvenient to have people constantly pestering you.

1. I believe that both the Jedi and the Sith philosophies are fatally flawed.

2. Having a flashy bloodline and special powers isn't all it's cracked up to be. If I hadn't had them, I would have been happier.

3. I don't believe tapping into the dark side is inherently evil. There's a time for anger and passion, even hatred. It's what you use them for that counts.

1. I get into this with my girl every now and again. She's still a Sith, although she's a very good person, and by your universe's standards, I think I would be one too.

We have conversations about how when I use the force, which we have another few names for, I am always working out of my emotions, but I try to work out of emotions the Sith don't typically favour. It seems to me like both philosophies are basically attempts at getting people to amputate large parts of their human (or otherwise sapient) natures and thus inherently harmful. Selective suppression of biological and intellectual drives in the short term can be a highly effective method of building up energy to do things, but long term, and without grounding and restoration after the work's done, it leaves you unbalanced, unsteady and incredibly vulnerable to manipulation.
