Pretty swell ones! Except for that wedding fiasco, where I ended up murdered before cake.

I mean, sure, I deserved it. But, I think we could have had cake first.

[He gave a slight sulk, which was more for the sake of whining than anything. He wasn’t actually upset with Lydia in the slightest.]

[Whelk is beginning to get very irritated - and more than a little triggered - at this guy talking about demons. The whispers in his ears are getting very loud, and it's getting a little hard to focus.]

[God he hates hallucinating, but at least most of them are terrifying instead of just obnoxious and sassy. He glares. There's not much arguing with what he just saw, so now all that's left is to be irritated about it.]

[He's not, and immediately regrets saying so in case this guy takes it as an actual expression of sympathy rather than one of those awkward things you say when you're feeling annoyed and incredulous.] You say you're a demon, but you make people do the "Chicken Dance" and listen to a random student's parents when they tell you to stop?

Random? No, no, no. Lydia is my bffff forever! And if I ignore the sexy ghost parents, they’ll complain. A lot. And that gets super annoying.

[He huffed and crossed his arms.]

And the Chicken Dance made her laugh.

Since when do demons have "bffs"?
