You've a talent for seeing the best in people but that only goes so far. You need a plan on how to deal with them afterward.

[Look, Maul might have nothing left, but he didn't survive the Clone Wars and into the Rebellion era by being stupid. He knows how to play chess even if it does seem like he always keeps getting outmaneuvered by more powerful people.]

I always think of something, don't I? That's one of my other talents. It'll work itself out. Somehow.

[Similar to his old master, he always manages to survive. And Ezra, believe it or not, isn't that stupid either. He's not a strategist, just some kid off the streets. But that hasn't failed him so far.]

Right now, I'll work on recruiting him. If that doesn't work, we'll keep to our truce. And if that doesn't work, then I'll deal with him. I've already isolated him from everything that gave him power. See? I can plan things!
