Let's just say they'd be woefully undermanned. And frankly, I can't see them caring enough anyhow.

Where I'm from, in such a case, they would turn to other Pro Heroes for assistance.

The same reason other heroes don't care to get involved. Unless they've got a bone to pick with each other, they're playing for the same team.

That's what happens in a system without accountability... And in a group of heroes that have lost their empathy.

We... run in a lot of the same circles.
But they don't have any use for people like me.

I mean there's regular normal people. And then there's people with weird powers and stuff, right?

And then when you take allll the people with powers and stuff. There's the pretty ones. The powerful ones. And the dregs.

I understand what you mean by the social segregation. But to be blunt about it, where do you think you fall and why do you think that heroes have no use for you?

I don't mind being blunt.
Some of us are neither pretty nor powerful.

In my experience. What is true about the world, doesn't really give a shit what should be true about the world.

Generally, yes.

Or specifically, playing with the big boys. These so-called heroes that you speak of.

I don't want to be one of them, if that's what you're asking.

But do you feel strongly about not being on the same playing field as them?

I'm not laboring under the delusion that deserve to be or something... I just don't think they deserve their status either.

Oh, but my question was if you want to equalize the playing field.

Do I wish it were equal? Yes. Do I aspire to be the leader of that particular revolution? No.
