It depends on the mood. If I’m not that into them, I’d rather get it over with.

Probably depends on the situation. Sometimes I don't have the patience to take things slow.

Getting carried away isn’t a bad thing, necessarily. As long as you’re attentive.

Hmm... It depends, doesn't it? Some situations don't really let you choose.

But I guess the real answer is whatever I'm in the mood for at the time. Both options have their perks.

Personally I prefer taking my time. A gentleman should properly see to their partner's enjoyment, after all.

It's only natural to be so moved by passion on occasion when being intimate with someone special, I suppose. Especially for a generous and empathetic person like myself.

I'm fully capable of being inspired in that fashion by someone attractive enough to me.

[ Azul gestures Jack a little closer, lowering his voice as if he's about to share a secret...which he rather is.

I pride myself on being a man of refinement, but as an octomer I do possess certain instincts that humans don't.

[ An echo of something primeval does lurk within his inner depths, even in this false form that he wears on land. Predatory, territorial, and typically kept in check. ]

So let's say...someone with a wild aspect to their disposition. If that person were to show enough aggression when seducing me, I might entirely forget myself.

[ His lips curl upwards. ]

Subdue or be subdued. Either outcome gets one's pulse pounding, don't you agree?

[ A wild aspect, Azul says. Nothing subtle about that, unless Jack's reading too much into it. Or rather, into how it might apply to himself in particular. But that shouldn't be the assumption, should it? Between the beastmen, the merfolk, and the fae in this school, Azul could be alluding to half of their classmates, and that feels important to keep in mind.

Seems like there's at least one way to test the theory, though. Jack leans in closer, with a conspiratorial glance from side to side. ]

[ When Azul examines something that piques his curiosity in his true form, it'll be first with the delicate tip of one of his octopus limbs; he'll carefully feel out what he's dealing with before pressing further ahead. It's a process not so different from what he's engaging in right now.

He chuckles quietly, mindful of how the distance between Jack and himself has lessened. ]

That would be quite the forceful approach that gets one's heart pounding, certainly. Usually in that situation I'd attempt to turn the tables, but if it was that person I might just be swept up by their passion and feel more inclined to give in to them.

...Mind you, I don't think they'd escape entirely unscathed if they made me lose myself that way, but perhaps they wouldn't dislike the marks I'd leave behind.
