That is both true and false at the same time. Children can be kind and sweet, but they can also be little demons out for your blood.

But how do you truly know which path is the least harmful in the end? And how do you harden your heart to the suffering you might bring upon those closest to you? My brothers might have deserved Darkness Everlasting but they were my brothers and I loved them despite of their failings and I don't think they could've withstod the pain of forswearing the oath. Because I tried to do so and even I didn't have the fortitude to keep that up forever.

I deeply regret the actions I took, I hate myself for them, but I truly do not know what else I could have done. To evil ends shall all things turn that they begin well, and the last time I tried to do something good it created a pile of corpses high enough to see from a fair distance.
